ISS International School (Singapore) is a K-12 IB School with two campuses in the thriving green city of Singapore. We are a full IB Primary Years, IB Middle Years, and IB Diploma Program authorized school, and have enjoyed back to back 6 year authorizations from the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). We are almost at capacity with approximately 700 students from 50 nationalities, and approximately 80 teachers from 17 nationalities. In 2009 we started our Preliminary CIS accreditation process.
Full commitment to the school and its various activity programs is required by both our students and our staff.
ISS teachers are expected to have a strong ICT/IT background, and incorporate appropriate ICT/IT use into their teaching. Our school’s IT platform is Apple mac, and all teachers are provided with a macbook. Teachers in grades 9 to 12 are expected to integrate information technology into their daily lessons, as we are a 1to1 laptop school. All K-12 teachers are required to adopt the online Atlas Rubicon curriculum mapping system for curriculum development. All High School teachers are required to integrate Study Wiz, our E-Learning platform, into their classes and teaching.
